Online Banking Security

Many banks have different ways of protecting your money and your identity. There include the following.

- Passwords: Individuals will have a unique password and a unique client number which is used to log in. You can change this password on a monthly basis for further protection.

- Mobile Phone: Some banks will also offer a sms code that is released on your mobile phone when you are making a transaction of any kind. This means that individuals who are hacking into your account will not have access to your money without your phone.

- Standard protection: Often bank websites have protection. This can be found in a padlock image on the right hand side of your screen as well as the 'https' used in the URL.
